now, let's talk about the first postal game to come out. postal was objectively one of the edgiest games of the ninties. now, about the gameplay. this game was really fun to play. the mechanics are good, and i enjoy the 3rd person shooter, which isn't really common. this game is free, which i am thankful for as i can't spend money on games right now unfortunately. one of the things i don't like about redux/1997 is probably the kills at the top. it's pretty annoying to see that you have one person left to kill, and then after you've finished searching the map you realize they were just on the floor. also, i personally don't like the way you switch between weapons. mainly because i just am unable to switch quickly and i can't memorize the keybinds, so it's a me problem. the dude in this game is probably my favorite. his long hair is metal as fuck. i really love the first game's lore as well. the switched ending of redux is kind of lacking though in my opinion. i think the shock value of shootings did go down (as someone who unfortunately lives in the U.S) , but the way dude just stopped and fell to the ground added a lot in my opinion. i highly recommend playing these games.
